A picture of a wedding [week]. There were a million errands to run, to dos to cross off, people to hug. It's easy to lose sight of the joy and sacredness of why it's all happening and why we are all here. I am so grateful to have been a first hand witness to @marymoorerabb and McLean's relationship, and know how truly this to do list reflects what is most central to their relationship: Jesus. Prayer has been their bedrock in all seasons and experiences, and this week was no different. I love you both so much, and am so grateful for the powerful example you are of believers in Jesus.// 1John 3:18 Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This was the title and main key point of the homily and my sister's wedding: Live Loved. The irony in this post is that the reason I decided to doodle was because I was watching Bachelor in Paradise () and it's pretty much a direct opposite of what it means to Live Loved. When we live as though we are not loved, we are manipulative, self centered, jealous, depressed, cruel, sad. Love changes everything; being loved by God radiates out of us when we fully allow ourselves to Live Loved. When we stop the self pity, the insecurity, the lies that we aren't ______  E N O U G H. Good, smart, pretty, rich, safe, happy. Jesus is enough, and his love for us is enough to turn the manipulation to self sacrifice, the jealous to gentleness, the depression to joy. What would it look like if we Lived Loved, with our families, friends, coworkers, acquaintances? I want to know what you think.
