I can waste time pretty easily. Especially my own time-- evenings, weekends, I can kill a whole Saturday with SVU marathons or Netflix binges and a lengthy nap. Usually that's what my breaks look like as well, a lot of couch and tv time. This thanksgiving, though, to had this restored sense of energy and urgency to MAKE IT COUNT, something I truly cannot remember being true in forever. I made things, played games, laughed wit my sisters, and drew a lot. I said yes to walks and museums and late night trips to the store. Because I want to stop wasting time, and start making things count, taking captive my time and using it wisely. It's not easy-- couch naps and Olivia Benson are my comfort zone for sure. But I want to do things that MATTER, make memories that will LAST, impact others in a REAL way. (And I've now seen every SVU episode ever so what's really the point of rewatching??) do you need a restored energy? I'm going to let you in on something: the Lord will give it to you, if you ask. It's not magic, it may not be instantaneous, and it may take work, but Jesus didn't waste any time doing the work of his father, so I'm pretty sure he agrees it's worthwhile. And the great thing is you can start whenever! //100% of digital downloads on the site support #givingtuesday today including some of my most popular designs into prints for the first time.
