This weekend while helping my sister at a Christmas show (hard to believe it's already time for those!) I had a realization: people are BRAVE. I witnessed first hand the bravery of shop owners watch people pass on your curated goods, politely setting down something you crafted with your own hands, or frown at an item you searched high and low to find, or walk by without a glance. And then I thought of the people that I pass by everyday: the man who sells newspapers at my morning exit, who knows avoidance better than most of us. The woman who creates art from her soul and posts it for the world to see. The kids who show up everyday for school and fight odds I could never imagine before 8am. The couple who loves each other even when they don't like each other. People are B R A V E, in unnoticed, everyday moments. I want to courage to notice the brave people, to love the people who are willing to take uncomfortable, imperfect, impossible risks. Because it's hard to be brave, and the opportunity to encourage someone in walking their brave lives isn't something we should pass up. Increase and abound in love for the brave people all around you walking through life. Tag someone who lives a brave life!
